DUNLOP BAGS QUALITY AWARDS
Tyre giant, Dunlop Nigeria plc, reconfirmed its
pre-eminence in the tyre business by winning this year’
quality awards in three categories across their product
range. The company was awarded Gold, Silver and bronze
certificates respectively on its car tyre sizes.
The award ceremony that was recently held on the 14th
October at a colorful and well attended ceremony in Lagos
under the auspices of Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON)
to mark this years’ World Standards Day. The company was
awarded Gold plaque on its Tubeless Tyre sizes 165 x 13(S),
175 x 14(S), 185 / 70 – 13HP and Tube Tyre 560 x 15C49
respectively. It’s Passenger Car Tyres (Tubeless) 197 / 170
x 14HP won Silver. Other tubeless sizes that won awards in
the Bronze category were, Passenger Car tyres, 175 x 14
Crown, 165 x 13 Crown, 185 / 65 x 14 HP, 195 / 65 x 15 HP,
185 / 70 HR 13 HP, 185R 14 Elite, 185 / 70 TR 14 Crown and
175 / 70 R13 Crown.
These awards are for consistently maintaining years of
standard quality laid down by the organization which
ultimately confirms Dunlop as a topmost manufacturer of
quality tyres in its entirety.
Acknowledging SONs’ efforts in rewarding companies that
produces quality products, the company’s Group Managing
Director, Mohammed Yinusa, reassures the public at large of
Dunlop's resolve to continue to produce only quality tyres
that not only meet international standard but which will
always surpass customers’ expectations. In his words,

It will be recalled that Dunlop Nigeria Plc was likewise a
recipient of the exclusive and internationally recognized
Economic Commission for Europe 30 Certification E 11 mark of
quality.
